Happy Day Thomas Jefferson families! I hope you are had a wonderful weekend filled with family and fun!! The 2nd Annual TJ PTC Santa Breakfast was a huge success.  THANK YOU to the amazing PTC committee that worked so hard to make this event happen!! It was truly an event filled with family, fun, and JOY!



We are looking forward to our final week of 2019 with our students and staff and looking forward to 2020! As we close out December together, we will be celebrating the TJ spirit and the spirit of the season with our Winter Caroling Night, CHP Toy Drive, Spirit Days, and our Holiday Read Around. Learning, Leading and FUN for all! Please remember that  
   
    Please note that we will begin registration for the 2020-2021 school year soon.  Please look for updates and information via email, the RCSD Website and our blog for updates.  If you are aware of a family that has a Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten student that is in our neighborhood or would like to attend TJ please let them know that registration is coming up soon! Registration will be online again this year.

MINIMUM DAY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20!
There will be a MINIMUM day on FRIDAY, December 20, 2019.
Transitional Kindergarten will be dismissed at 12:05 pm. 
Kindergarten will be dismissed at 1:45.
Grades 1-5 will be dismissed at 1:49 pm.

PLEASE make arrangements for this early pick-up!



CHiP's for Kids Toy Drive here at TJ!


Our school is teaming with KCRA news to participate in the CHiP's for Kids toy drive. Please bring a new and unwrapped toy by Dec.18 th to school and help make another child's Christmas bright! There is a collection bin in the office or you can give it to your teacher to turn in. Thank you! #TJStarsgiveback

WINTER CAROLING NIGHT

A TJ Tradition

December 18, 2019

6:30 pm

The date of Winter Caroling Night has been changed in order to honor the Roseville Fire Department's Santa Visit to the Highland Park Neighborhood. 

We are looking forward to a night of song and fun!  

PLEASE NOTE:

There will be ONE stage this year. This change has been made in the name of the safety of our students, staff, and families.   All of our Stars will be performing at the inner quad stage of the campus.  

Doors will open at 6:00 pm. 

Please find a spot for your family to enjoy the show. 

STUDENT DROP OFF:

Drop off of students will begin at 6:15 pm

Designated grade level drop-locations and pick- up locations will be shared in a flyer and the TJ Family Blog next week.  


Please bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the evening.

There will be a bake sale to support out TJ art club and hot chocolate will be sold to support out our 5th Grade Outdoor Education field trip. 

THIS IS A WEATHER PERMITTING EVENT.
If the weather is not conducive to an outdoor event; we will have to cancel our Winter Caroling night.

HOT CHOCOLATE DONATIONS NEEDED!
To celebrate the last day of school before Winter Break, we will be having our school-wide Winter Read A Round activity. We will be providing hot chocolate to all of our students.

The PTC will be hosting a Holiday Staff Breakfast on Dec. 19th for our amazing staff at Thomas Jefferson. We are looking for donations from families that would like to help make this a special day. Here is the link for donations the Holiday Staff Breakfast. Donations are due on the 16th.

School not in session December 23rd through January 6th. We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year on Tuesday, January 7th.

LOST AND FOUND

Please check our lost and found items before Winter Break. We will be donating all coats left during the  the break to a local charity. Thank you!
