A quick update before we head off to Spring Break.
We are excited to announce the
Thomas Jefferson Spring Break Reading Challenge. Every Star has been challenged to read EVERY DAY for 20 minutes over the break. Please look for a bright pink challenge sheet in your child's backpack. Every Star that completes 10 or more of the boxes on the challenge sheet will receive a special prize from our AMAZING Thomas Jefferson PTC. We RISE together when we read a good book! CAASPP Update
The State Board of Education submitted a waiver to the federal government to suspend California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) testing this school year. The federal government has approved the waiver, students will take a spring iReady assessment in place of the CAASPP. We will provide more information in the near future as to the iReady testing window for Thomas Jefferson students in the near future.
Classes resume on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 - have a happy and safe Spring Break.

Virtual Picture Day!Thomas Jefferson's Virtual Picture Day has been extended through Spring Break! Please note that this Yearbook will also include our TJ Stars who are in the Champions Academy. You'll need your students' ID number, which is the number before the @ sign in their school email, and what you use to log in to their Chromebook at school.
In order to have your students’ pictures in the yearbook, you’ll need to take your child's picture and upload it. The link to the website is here: VIRTUAL PICTURE DAY.

Don't forget school will not be in session March 29th-April 5th. We'll see you back at school on Tuesday, April 6th.
You can still participate in Art To Remember! This is for both Champions and In Person students. There are over 50 keepsakes that can be customized with your Star's artwork and many are less than $15. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school.
