Hello TJ Stars!

I can hardly believe that it is February 1st!  We have some amazing events coming our way this month!  Sami Circuit will be visiting us, we will be hosting our Family Literacy Night on February 28 and our celebration of reading is the last week of February as we honor Read Across America Week!  If you are able to join us for our annual Read Aloud event on Friday, March 1, 2018, please contact your child's teacher.  It will be a great month indeed!

This month's character trait is Integrity.  Our staff will be reviewing this character trait over the next month.

Student Leadership is excited to once again support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Pennies for Patients program. Every student will be coming home with a box to collect loose change or any donation you would like to donate and a flyer.  The fundraiser will last from February 11 through March 1st. We will also be having "Chuck Your Change" -- Student Leadership members will be collecting change at the loops.  Please help us support this amazing organization that helps kids with cancer. 

Student Leadership Team will be selling Valentine Grams for $1.00 on the following days:
February 8th, 12th and 13th before and after school.
February 14th only in the morning.
Valentine grams will be delivered to individual classes.

TJ Daughter Dance - Saturday, February 9, 2018

Our PTC sponsored Daughter Dance a VIP Night with the Stars is on Saturday, February 9, 2019,  from 5:00-8:00 pm. The last day to purchase tickets is Wednesday, February 6, 2019.  The ticket order form can be found HERE.

The Thomas Jefferson PTC is excited to announce that on Friday, March 29th our 2nd Annual Denim & Diamonds Dinner & Auction Party is back! This year’s event benefits our Thomas Jefferson Elementary Students and their campus; the evening’s proceeds will directly benefit Campus Beautification along with Recess & Playground Equipment needs. Ticket Sales are LIVE today on our new website; visit http://www.thomasjeffersonptc.com now to purchase your tickets! The tickets will be discounted until February 15th for $35/person, after the 15^th the tickets are $40/person. Your ticket includes dinner, 1 drink ticket, dancing and so much more! While you are there buying your tickets for this fun adult evening please check out the Step & Repeat, raffle and basket winners and fun photos from last year’s event! Since the theme is Denim & Diamonds, wear your favorite jeans and add your best bling!
