Dear Thomas Jefferson Families and Community,

My name is Jennifer Deslaurier and I am humbled and honored to introduce myself as your Thomas Jefferson Principal for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. I can assure you that I share your dedication to caring for students every day while providing them with a consistent, equitable, and unified learning environment. My priorities are high-quality academic instruction, social-emotional health, and safety for every student.

Previously an Assistant Principal, teacher, and EL specialist, I join Thomas Jefferson with 22 years in education. My family has lived here in Placer County for 15 years, and our three children attend local schools. My husband and I both volunteer in the community and appreciate what our area offers.

My door is always open as I value conversation and input. I look forward to meeting you and becoming part of the Rising Star family! Thank you for welcoming me to RCSD, and I will see everyone in the fall.
