Hello there TJ Families!
We are happy to report that the TJ Star Student Store is NOW OPEN! Your Stars have been earning Starbucks in class and on campus! They get to shop in a different way this year. They get to shop virtually, place an order and it is delivered to their classroom. If you are interested in donating to the Student Store please see the list below:
Colored Pencils
Comp Books
Stress Balls
Emoji Erasers
Toy Cars
Coloring Books
Crayons
Small Journals
If items can be bought in bulk, as the same item, that would be great! Amazon has some great items if your search teacher prizes. If you are able to help out...THANK YOU!
A few safety reminders...
- Thank you all for all of your hard work in RISING together to ensure that we remain open! A few safety reminders:
- When picking up students in a car please pull up to the cones and wait for your child to come to your vehicle.
- Wear a mask on campus - even if you are exiting your car - it shows a great example to our Stars who wear them all day.
- If you are walking on to campus to pick up your child - MASKS ARE REQUIRED
While we may not be able to celebrate the day in a traditional fashion, we are making plans to assure that the students can still celebrate and have fun with their classmates. In order to safely bring some holiday joy to our classmates, we will need some preplanning and help from parents.
Please follow the steps below:
Purchase or make Valentine cards for the number of students in your child's class provided by their teacher.
Have your child sign each card, but DO NOT address them to individual students. We will not be sending home a class list.
Bag up all of your child’s Valentines into a large envelope or Ziplock. Put your child’s name on the ziplock bag.
Send the Valentines to school with your child by February 5th, 2021.
All Valentines will be collected and sorted into individual bags for the students. Bags will be stapled closed and sent home on Friday, February 12, 2021.
Please note, any candy/goodies that come with the Valentines must be prepackaged by the manufacturer or they will not be distributed. Please no nut/peanut candies or homemade treats.
While this is in no way a mandatory activity, we do hope your child will participate. It is our goal to help bring some fun and happiness to your child and make them feel connected to their classmates while things around them are so different.
Symptoms and COVID Precautions Reminder
