A NOTE FROM OUR PTC:

Welcome back to school! The PTC is excited to announce our plans for this year. Our mission is to continue to provide enrichment for students, families, and staff whether onsite or distance learning.
  • We are proud to offer monthly virtual enrichment activities for students and their families. We believe these activities will build up our community and let us come together in a way that is safe and fun!
    • Sept 15-30th International Dot Day Activity
      • International Dot Day is a day celebrating courage and creativity. It is based on the book by Peter H Reynolds, The Dot.  Join other TJ stars and complete the "Make Your Mark" art project. Click here to see the project and respond.
  • We developed a virtual page that is informative, interactive and fun. It is going to be our main way of communicating.
    • Features staff spotlights, upcoming events, fundraising info, contests and giveaways.

NEWS

We are excited to announce that Destiny Discover, our new online library, is ready for you to explore!  In Destiny Discover, your student can browse books, place books on hold, and view their current checkouts and due dates.  If your student currently has books checked out, please return them to the cart in front of the school by September 28th in order to receive new books by the next deployment day.  You may return library books Monday-Friday during school hours.

If your student places a book on hold in Destiny Discover, Mrs. Kirst will put your new book requests on the outgoing book cart within 3 business days. You will receive an email inviting you to come to pick them up when they are ready. Please keep in mind all returned books will be quarantined for 72 hours before they are returned and ready for recirculation. Please click on the link below to learn more and make sure to watch the Destiny Discover tutorial before you get started.

Also, you will see a City of Roseville library link where your student can apply for a free online library card and have instant access to free ebooks, tutoring, and more!

We are currently accepting donations of gently used hardcover books to add to our library!

Please email Mrs. Kirst at kkirst@rcsdk8.org if you have any questions.

We have also created a virtual library for you and your rising Star~
