What a wonderful week we had last week! We certainly ended the week with our Annual Community Read Aloud Event. It was so wonderful to see our parents and community partners reading to our Stars! Thank you all so very much for coming out to share the joy of reading!
THIS WEDNESDAY, is a MINIMUM day for Parent teacher Conferences school will be dismissed for GRADES 1-5 students at 1:49 pm and for KINDERGARTEN at 1:45 pm.
REGISTRATION Reminder!
If you have not registered yet, you should do so as soon as possible. If your student is returning to Thomas Jefferson Elementary, or will be a new student to TJ, or a 5th grader moving on to Buljon or Cooley Middle School, you still need to register, and can do so by following this link to the district registration webpage! If you know of neighbors or friends who have a TK student or a Kinder-age students and they have not registered please encourage them to do so. Our enrollment numbers directly effect our staffing and teacher placement.

A PTC Evening of Dining, Dancing and Fun!
The Thomas Jefferson PTC is excited to announce that on Friday, March 29th our 2nd Annual Denim & Diamonds Dinner & Auction Party is back! This year’s event benefits our Thomas Jefferson Elementary Students and their campus; the evening’s proceeds will directly benefit Campus Beautification along with Recess & Playground Equipment needs. STARSTRUCK
Starstruck is back at Thomas Jefferson! This dance program is led by Carrie Pereira from Starstruck Showcase. Our students are enjoying practicing this program during school hours and will end the program with an evening performance that you are invited to attend.
This year the theme is “10 Year Celebration!” To order tickets, please complete the bottom portion and return to the school with cash only! Last day to submit a purchase for tickets is Friday, March 15, 2019. You can send this form to your students’ teacher or to the front office. Purchased tickets will be sent home with your student in Friday folders.
The children will be performing two identical shows on the evening that they perform; one at 6:00 and 2nd performance at 7:00. We offer two shows to accommodate all of our TJ star students performing on their respective night. They are required to stay for both shows. Please pick only one showing you would like to attend as space is limited. We are requesting a note for any student who will not be able to perform that evening as every absent student leaves a gap in the performance.
Tickets are now on sale for these performances with a donation of $3 each. Please note that DVDs of the evening performance will be available to order on the night of the performance.

Please join the TJ family at Chipolte in the Nugget shopping center on Monday, March 18, 2018 from 4-8pm. Proceeds from this event go directly to enrichment activities at Thomas Jefferson.
