Hello TJ STARS!

It has been another jam-packed week of learning and fun. Our 3rd-5th graders wrapped up CASSPP testing! WHEW! Our third grade has been preparing for Going Buggy, it will be a great show on Thursday Night! The TK Stars had donuts with their Dads and our Ensemble sang their hearts out at their Showcase! We have three more weeks of school and we will continue to learn and lead together!

Site Council
We are looking for parents to join our School Site Council for the 2018-19 school year. As a member of the Site Council, you commit to serving for two years. We will meet 4-5 times during the school year to review the School Site Plan (goals and spending), the Safety Plan, and we will develop the Parent Survey for the school year and review the data. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the school.

Library News
All library books are due May 25th. Please help your child find any missing books and send them in by the due date. Any lost or damaged books will need to be paid for before report cards are sent home at the end of the year.

Get Involved with PTC!
We are looking for nomination for PTC President and Vice President and well as chairpeople for events/activities. Please don't be scared of the title of President or Vice President - you can do it! If you would like more information or want to talk about details of the position, please contact Kirsten Acke at kthomas-acke@rcsdk8.org.

President - The president shall have the responsibility for the organization. Items include setting the agenda and running the PTC meetings.

Vice President - The vice president will be elected to assist the president and will chair the PTC meetings when the president is absent. The vice president will oversee the membership drive and assist in committee organization.

PTC Fireworks Stand

Hello TJ Community!

We are very fortunate to have been chosen to manage a fireworks stand to help raise money for our school and students! Over 60 organizations applied, and we were one of the lucky two to win!!

For our first year, we are partnering with Eich Middle School to help man the booth, so we are only seeking volunteers for 3 days: Friday, June 29, Sunday, July 1, and Tuesday, July 3.
