Dance-a-thon was an OUT of this GALAXY success!
Students, staff and families danced their hearts out on Friday, and used
their FORCE to raise money for our school.
Thank you for those of your have already turned in your pledges! Pledges are due to the school on October 21,

Sami Circuit Assemblies
Sami will be here with our TJ Stars on
Wednesday morning. Sami Kader, motivational speaker and fitness guru,
will bring a positive message to our STARS during grade-level school
assemblies, parents are welcome to attend. He will return to so circuits will
be on October 27, 2016! We are fortunate to welcome Sami for our Family
night on November, 2 2016. The two
assembly times are as follows:
TK-2 - 9:00 am
3-5 - 10:00- 10:45

October 19, 2016 -Thomas Jefferson - Volunteer Fingerprinting & TB Clearance October 19, 2016
Starting December 1st ALL volunteers must be
fingerprinted and have TB clearance in order to volunteer in the classrooms and
events or go on field trips. The Roseville City School District is
offering FREE live scan and TB clearance.
TJ will be hosting a Volunteer Fingerprinting and TB Clearance event on October 19, 2016 from 5:30-7:30.
We are eager to see you there!
GATE TESTING
The 2017-2018 school year GATE identification test will be administered at the District Office for students currently in 2nd-7th grade around January 2017. The students will take the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test, OLSAT, that tests abstract thinking and reasoning ability. The form will be linked here beginning November 14, 2016.Thomas Jefferson Student Leadership Canned Food Drive
Thomas Jefferson Student Leadership is hosting the "Kids Can!" food drive through November 4th. See the flier that went home in the red folders. Send your canned goods in with your student and help stock our local food bank before the holidays. #TJStarsgiveback #fighthunger
TJ Book Fair
WELCOME! To the fall book fair...Where the books are the treasure! Our book fair will be on campus from October 24- 28, 2016. The book fair needs parent volunteers during the school day during lunch recess and during the Harvest Festival. If you are interested in volunteerting please contact the office our our PTC.

Our Thomas Jefferson Harvest Festival is raidly approaching! We will enjoy an eveing of games, community, food trucks and celebration on October 27, 2016! Please save the date!
