It has been a great week here at Thomas Jefferson Elementary. Our Student Leadership Team had their first meeting of the year and we are looking forward to seeing the great contributions they will make to the school and greater community! Field Trips have started and we've even had our first rain of the season! As the season changes please remind students to look in our Lost and Found area in the MPR for items that have been left on campus, it is really beginning to pile up! We will have another great week of Learning and Leading Together!

The 2019 Superhero Dance-A-Thon was a huge success!! We collected over $19,000!! Congratulations to all of the TJ Stars for their hard work collecting pledges for our school!

A HUGE thank you to who came out last Wednesday for our Annual Watch DOGs Pizza Night Kick-Off. We had a great turn out and we are excited about launching this program for the fourth year at TJ! We look forward to welcoming you to our campus! Please remember that you need to sign up TWO weeks before your day and if you are not able to make it to your volunteer day please give us as much notice as possible.

In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month we wear Pink to help find a cure.
We support all of our TJ Families who are affected by all Cancer and encourage everyone to wear the color of specific cancer that has affected your family.
STAR STORE
Our kids have been working hard on earning their "Star-bucks" and are ready to start redeeming them! We would love your support in stocking up our student store. If you are stopping by Target or the Dollar Tree and see little trinkets, school supplies or fun small items that kids would enjoy and would like to donate to the Student Store we would greatly appreciate it.
