We are looking forward to celebrating our rising stars who demonstrated cooperation in August and Mr. Jim our crossing guard on September 3, 2021!  Mr. Jim has been a pillar in our community and has been supporting our students for 15 years.

Label Your Child’s Belongings

Please label your child’s lunchboxes, water bottles, sweatshirts, etc.  We often have the need to match these items with children and it is so much easier to do this when items are labeled.  Thank you for helping us with this task. 

Dogs on Campus

Please do not bring your dog onto campus.  There are students who are afraid of dogs or are not aware of how to approach dogs.  We do not want to put the child or the dog in a bad situation. If you are walking your dog to drop off or pick up your child please designate a spot off campus to meet.

School is not in session on Monday, September 6th, in honor of Labor Day.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A GREAT FIRST TWO DAYS OF SCHOOL!

A couple reminders: Please remind your students that breakfast is available when the gates open at 8:15am. They are welcome to go to the MP for breakfast. 

Lunchtime goes quickly. It takes the kids a little bit to get in the groove. You can help by sending them snacks to eat at recess. They do get the hang of it, I promise! 

Back to School Night

• Where: Thomas Jefferson Elementary

• Back to School Night is an adults-only event, and we ask that all children be left at home. 

• Parents/guardians will self-attest - Face coverings/masks are required for unvaccinated adults and are not required for fully vaccinated adults.

• If you are not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home

• There will be two sessions on the half-hour - 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
